Now handling North Carolina E-Closings

By E. Lynette Stone

Electronic real estate closings continue to rise

The COVID Pandemic advanced electronic real estate closings. Given the demand, we expanded our electronic closing and real estate transaction practice.

In fact, our Illinois office e-closed 15 or more properties daily during the COVID Pandemic. While current interest rates dampened real estate sales, 90% of the 11 or more closings that we handle daily occur electronically. Clearly, e-closings form the future.

Our North Carolina electronic real estate closing launch was a huge success

In 2024, we expanded our real estate practice. That effort naturally involved North Carolina, where we are licensed.

The Secretary of State’s 2024 E-closing conference sold out, and Attorney E. Lynette Stone had the pleasure of greeting North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall while attending.
